Ivory Coast 2010

Organized by K-GEST INTERNATIONAL in conjunction with the AANCC, the African Business Forum 2010 held in New York City at the Time Square Sheraton Hotel, is intended to assess the relationship between problematic African infrastructure development needs and American solution implementation. Over 100 participants joined us to attend this Forum. Many Government Officials and Executives of private corporations from both the Republics of Benin and Ivory Coast attended the Forum. It was a real occasion for them to explore with the American corporations, the different ways to finding appropriate solutions to their respective needs.

The conference was kicked off by H.E. Jean-Francis Zinsou, Ambassador of the Republic of Benin who gave us an excellent introduction on the overview situation of the infrastructure development in Africa. He also urged the American business community to travel to Africa to implement the different solutions suitable to the African development process. The General Director of the Ministry of the Economic Infrastructure of Ivory Coast presented the members of his delegation in his speech and advised the American business community to considerate Ivory Coast as their next destination, in terms of investment.

Many African Nations' Embassies attending the Symposium such as Angola, Benin, Ghana, Nigeria and Togo, seized the occasion to present the opportuinties offered by their respective countries to the American business community, in terms of establishing sustainable business partnenships on both sides.

Our Round Tables and break-out sessions discussed of the current state of the infrastructure and its future in Africa, which are ranged over a number of issues. Few of the discussions actually resulted in a true conclusion, so hopefully most will continue on through the AANCC dispositions until resolution can result.

Invited attendees bring their thoughts, opinions, and pressing questions to participate in this roundtable discussion with other Executive colleagues. The roundtable also provides the opportunity for the Executives to meet and network with peers and to discuss and develop timely solutions to critical infrastructure development needs and challenges in the African Nations
